Every setting we use sits on public land with its own rules about group size, amplified sound, decorations, chairs, and time of day. We tell you what applies to your location during planning so nothing is a surprise on the day.

Do we need to be experienced hikers?

No. Many of our ceremony settings involve a short, easy walk from the parking area. Others involve moderate hiking, and a few are genuinely adventurous. We match you to a setting based on what you are comfortable with.

How far will we have to walk?

That is your choice. Easy-access settings are a few minutes on level ground. Moderate options are roughly one to three miles round trip. Adventurous options go farther and feel more remote. Tell us where you land and we will recommend accordingly.

What if someone in our group has mobility considerations?

Tell us early. Accessibility varies significantly by destination and by exact ceremony setting, and we cannot promise every location works for every need. We will recommend the options that fit as closely as possible.

What happens if the weather turns?

Desert weather changes fast, and safety comes first. Depending on conditions we may shift the ceremony time, move to an alternate setting, or reschedule. We make that call with you, based on forecast, road and trail conditions, and land agency guidance.

Is there a backup plan?

Yes. Every date we plan includes an alternate setting appropriate to the conditions, so a change in weather means a change of place or time rather than a cancelled day.

When is the best time of year?

Spring and fall are the most comfortable across all five destinations. Summer mornings work well in Sedona if you start early; summer afternoons bring heat and monsoon storms. Winter is quiet and beautiful, with cold mornings and occasional snow at higher elevations like Bryce Canyon.

Sunrise or sunset?

Both are excellent. Sunrise means cooler temperatures, fewer people, and softer light. Sunset is easier for guests and travel schedules. We will tell you which suits your setting and season.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular dates and permitted settings fill up months ahead, particularly in spring and fall. Earlier is better, but reach out regardless — we will tell you honestly what is still available.

What should we wear?

Wear what you want to be married in, and bring shoes you can actually walk in. For anything beyond an easy-access setting we suggest a change of footwear for the walk, layers for the temperature swing, and a dress or suit that handles a little wind and dust.

How do we get our marriage license?

We provide clear instructions for obtaining the appropriate marriage license for your destination, but you complete the legal license process yourselves. We do not issue licenses. Requirements differ between Arizona and Utah, so we go over the specifics with you during planning.

How many guests can we bring?

The standard package includes the two of you plus up to 10 guests. Groups of 11 to 25 may be accommodated for an additional custom fee, depending on destination, ceremony setting, permits, and logistics. Our general maximum is 25 guests, and not every setting can host that many.

Can we bring our dog?

Sometimes. Pets are possible where trail, park, permit, and location rules allow them. Some of our settings permit dogs and some do not, so we confirm eligibility during planning rather than promising it up front.

Do we choose our ceremony location before contacting you?

No, and most couples do not. Choosing the setting is part of the service. We recommend options based on your scenery preference, hiking ability, guest count, accessibility needs, time of day, season, and how private you want it to feel.

Why do you not list your exact ceremony locations?

Several of the places we use are quiet precisely because they are not published. Keeping them private protects both the land and your ceremony. We share the specific setting with you directly during planning.

What kind of ceremony do we get?

A professional officiant is included, with a choice of Love-Focused, Nature-Inspired, or Spiritual ceremony styles. You can use standard vows or write your own.

What photography is included?

Two hours of professional photography, a fully edited high-resolution gallery, and sneak peeks — typically within about 48 hours of your date. The full gallery follows once editing is complete.

What does the standard package cost?

Sedona elopements start at $3,500 and include location planning, permits and logistics, the officiant, two hours of photography, one bouquet and one boutonniere, and up to 10 guests. Other destinations are quoted based on travel, permits, and logistics.

Can we add things to the package?

Yes. Common additions include a guided location-scouting hike, transportation, extended photography, engagement photography, upgraded florals, hair and makeup, videography, and a curated picnic. We discuss options and pricing during your consultation.

We work with you. Weather and safety-related changes are expected in outdoor settings and we handle those as part of the service. Couple-initiated date changes depend on availability and permit requirements; the specifics are set out in your agreement.

Deposits reserve your date, your team, and your permit, and are generally non-refundable. Full terms, including refund conditions and rescheduling, are set out in your agreement before you pay anything.
