How to Elope in Sedona: A Step-by-Step Guide

Start with the shape of the day, not the venue

Couples usually begin by searching for a location. It works better in reverse. Decide first whether you want sunrise light or golden hour, how much walking feels good, and whether anyone is travelling with you. Those three answers narrow the setting far faster than a list of red rock names.

Step one: enquiry and consultation

You share your dates, the feeling you are after, and who is coming. We follow up with a consultation to talk through settings, timing, and what is realistically permittable for your date.

Step two: proposal and agreement

You receive a written proposal with the package, any add-ons, and the full price held in place. Once you accept, the agreement is signed electronically and the deposit secures your date.

Step three: permits and paperwork

We identify the correct authorization for your setting and handle the application. Separately, you obtain your Arizona marriage license from any Clerk of the Superior Court in the state — that part must be done by the two of you in person.

Step four: planning the details

Photography timing, florals, hair and makeup, transport, vows, and where you eat afterwards. This is where the day stops being a location and starts being an itinerary.

Step five: the day itself

A typical schedule is preparation, travel to the setting, ceremony, portraits in the best light, then a private celebration. Most elopement days run three to six hours of coverage.

Step six: afterwards

Signed license is filed, images are delivered, and you have a record of a day that belonged only to you.
